The project to improve the water utility infrastructure of the Semeljci agglomeration is one of the large and significant infrastructure projects that are co-financed by EU funds, and as such the project is of exceptional importance for the area of the Semeljci Municipality and the City of Đakovo, the implementation of which can improve the economic stability and quality of life of the residents.
The project is located in the Osijek-Baranja County, in the area of the Semeljci and Viškovci municipalities and the town of Đakovo. The works on the project are divided into 3 groups and include the following:
GROUP 1 – Construction of the wastewater drainage system in the settlements of Koritna, Kešinci and Semeljci and works on improving the water supply system in the area of the Municipality of Semeljci
GROUP 2 – Construction of wastewater drainage systems in Mrzović and Vrbica settlements
GROUP 3 – Works on improving the water supply system of the wider Đakovica area
CONSTRUCTION OF A WASTEWATER TREATMENT DEVICE – the capacity of the device is 4,800 ES, the second stage of purification with additional removal of phosphorus from the waste water, with a station for accepting the contents of septic tanks and fields for grounding excess activated sludge.
